The Protector is an unmanned, integrated, naval combat system. Highly autonomous and remotely controlled, the Protector is able to conduct a wide spectrum of critical missions, while eliminating unnecessary risk to personnel and major assets. The Protector can be fitted with several different mission modules for various capabilities.

The Protector can be used for naval force protection and ship self-defence against asymmetric threats, especially in the littorals. The Protector is fitted with a mission module payload that includes the Toplite Electro-Optic Director, the Min-Typhoon stabilized weapon station and auxiliary sensors. This highly effective mission module enables the conduct of maritime security tasks, including detection, identification and interdiction of hostile acts.
